The Warehouse Operation Manager is responsible for leading and managing the warehouse operational activities. This role combines operational oversight with people leadership — driving performance, process excellence, customer satisfaction, and compliance with national and international freight and customs & AEO regulations incl. Warehouse BR1 P/L accountability. He will field requests and initiate internal issue resolution. If required he will work closely with respective Operational Centers (global/regional) and key stakeholders to ensure alignment between customer expectations and AIT performance, reporting analysis and process management. Management of assigned Team: Annual performance review with team members Employee development o Resource planning (e.g. Vacation, Sick leave, Working hours/overtime, etc.) Staffing (FTE approvals for all assigned staff along productivity targets & budget) Compensation planning for all assigned staff Perform regular team meetings and document meeting minutes Meet regularly with warehouse people and analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals. Schedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime Management of Infrastructure: Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety policies Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary Act as first escalation point for operational WHS issues Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency – with customer satisfaction the primary goal – by managing, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods. In cooperation with the Business Manager WHS, directly procure services and capacities to ensure that the product continuously meets customer & management requirements Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations · Manage daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages. All other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as the business demands deem necessary Execute all Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (as applicable).
