Your area of work
Eurex Clearing's Risk Management department is responsible for the strategic development of the risk management framework of the clearing house. As a Default Manager within the CCP Risk Management department you are responsible for designing the Default Management framework of Eurex Clearing and risk concepts, covering all asset classes across exchange listed and OTC products and services offered by Eurex Clearing and supporting the Default Management activities of the clearing house during a potential clearing member default.
Your responsibilities
1. Defining and maintaining frameworks and processes continuously improving the Default Management Process of Eurex Clearing
2. Developing, implementing and automation of processes in preparation for an emergency situation.
3. Conceptualizing legal framework of Eurex Clearing enforcing the Default Management techniques
4. Assessing and ensuring compliance of Default Management framework with market expectations and regulatory requirements
5. Supporting various projects, implementing the risk concepts and ensuring Default Management readiness
6. Representing CCP Risk Management towards customers, regulators, associations, and trading venues
Your profile
7. Higher education degree in a financial or quantitative discipline
8. 2+ years of experience in Clearing or Risk management
9. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as project management experience
10. Analytical problem-solving skills and ability to translate conceptual ideas into frameworks and implement business procedures.
11. Excellent command of MS-Office, experience in programming/process automation is a plus
12. Proficiency in written and spoken English
