We are seeking an experienced DaF/DaZ Teacher with a passion for teaching German as a foreign or second language. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, interactive, and communicative German lessons that cater to a variety of levels (A1-C1). You will help students enhance their language skills, fostering a positive and motivating learning environment. You will also be involved in developing teaching materials, evaluating student progress, and occasionally participating in social programme activities.
Assess student work in line with the course objectives to ensure all learning outcomes are met.
Use diverse teaching methods and materials to engage students in learning.
Conduct regular student evaluation, progress meetings, and tutorials.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
Provide pastoral care and support to ensure students’ mental and physical wellbeing.
Provide emotional and pastoral support to students, ensuring their wellbeing.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively with the support of the academic management team.
University Degree in German Studies, Linguistics, or a related field; DaF/DaZ certification essential.
Native or near-native proficiency level in German (C2 level).
Experience teaching German as a foreign or second language, preferably in a classroom setting.
Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an asset.
Familiarity with classroom technology and digital teaching resources.
