The Job
We are seeking an HR Manager with the open ambition to further develop and grow within their career.
Reporting into the HR Director GALP, you will act as a strategic partner for our leadership team across four key office locations (Idstein, Saarbrücken [Germany], Austria & Switzerland), supporting the achievement of our goals through innovative HR strategies. You will serve as an advisor and coach for managers and employees whilst actively contributing to fostering a positive, productive work atmosphere.
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, driving HR initiatives and empowering teams to achieve their full potential. Additionally, you will need to excel in navigating a dynamic business landscape, showing resilience and adaptability while effectively managing change for yourself, your team, and the business.
Furthermore, this position offers the opportunity to lead, design and re-shape local HR initiatives and processes, ensuring they align with the needs of the organization and contribute to its success.
The Person
You’re a curious problem solver, creative and look at situations with an open mind but can navigate a complex, large organization with ease. You’re agile and adaptable but work with precision to ensure we deliver top-notch customer experiences, always. You’re not intimidated by innovation. In fact, you embrace it. You also have:
* Fully CIPD qualified
* Languages – Fluent German and Upper-Intermediate English
* Proven experience across a broad HR Generalist remit
* Good knowledge of labor law and modern HR practices
* Experience working with local Work Councils
* The ability to think strategically while efficiently managing operational tasks
* Resilience and adaptability to thrive in an adaptable work environment while supporting the team and business through change
