What you can expect:
11. Support the JOSY project team in software-related tasks, focusing on backend development and technical implementation.
12. Develop and maintain backend components using C++, including the gradual migration of legacy codebases to Rust.
13. Design and implement 2D and 3D algorithmic functions to solve complex computational problems within the JOSY system.
14. Drive the integration of AI solutions into the existing software landscape in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
15. Contribute to the software architecture of the next-generation JOSY platform and support the team through code reviews and mentoring.
What to bring:
16. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
17. Professional experience in C++ software development, with solid knowledge of SQL
18. Experience with modern software tools and frameworks such as Qt (5+), PostgreSQL, and Rust is a strong plus
19. Familiarity with industrial systems and interfaces (e.g. Fieldbus, ADS, MQTT), PLC systems (Beckhoff TwinCAT 3, Siemens SIMATIC), and web technologies (JavaScript/Node.js, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, GraphQL) is highly desirable
20. Fluent in English (spoken and written) and advanced proficiency in German
