Retail Area Manager – Home/ DIY/ Agri

Our client, a market leader in the Agri, Trade, and home DIY sectors, is seeking a Retail Area Manager to oversee the operations and performance of multiple stores within Munster. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, results-driven leader with strong business and commercial acumen to make a real impact.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Retail Area Manager:
* Regularly review sales performance for each store against targets, taking action to improve results where needed.
* Develop and support Store Managers and their teams to build competence and drive success.
* Lead by example, setting high standards in professionalism, dedication, and customer service to boost sales and enhance the customer experience.
* Carry out regular store audits, oversee stock management, and resolve any issues promptly to maintain smooth operations.
* Support store managers in driving all KPI’s and delivering success across all departments
* Ensure all stores are delivering the best in class in terms of service, engagement, knowledge and standards.
Skills Required of the Retail Area Manager:
* 5–7+ years of multisite area management experience within a high-volume retail environment, ideally in grocery or non-food sectors.
* Comprehensive knowledge of Agriculture is essential
* Strong business and commercial acumen
* Skilled at interpreting commercial and operational reports
* Demonstrated ability to lead people effectively, driving results through teamwork, motivation, and genuine employee engagement.
* Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office with a strong analytical skillset and commercial awareness.
