The Role:
We are seeking an automotive-focused and innovative B2B Marketing Communications Specialist (d/f/m) to join our B2B Marketing team, reporting to the Head of B2B Marketing Communications. In this high-impact, hands-on role, you will create and execute compelling B2B marketing initiatives tailored to the automotive industry, collaborating across Sales, Brand, Product, Creative, and Analytics teams. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of key content formats such as the m:Q report, podcasts, webinars, and dealer events —as well as developing and launching new communication formats as our business evolves. You will also support event planning and execution, manage partnerships, and ensure all dealer-facing communications are effective, data-driven, and aligned with our strategic objectives.
This is a role for a doer who leverages data, technology, and creativity to move mobility forward and maximize campaign performance.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Execution
* Develop, manage, and execute multi-channel B2B marketing initiatives, including the m:Q report, podcasts, webinars, and other current and future content formats.
* Ensure all initiatives are fully integrated with the overarching content strategy and are leveraged across all customer and partner touchpoints for maximum impact.
* Build and nurture relationships with influencers and Mobile.de ambassadors to expand reach and credibility within the automotive sector.
* Identify and develop new communication channels and innovative content formats relevant to automotive audiences.
* Oversee all aspects of campaign trafficking, quality control, campaign launch, reporting, and analysis.
Event Planning & Execution
* Plan, organize, and execute dealer-facing events (virtual and in-person), including conferences, workshops, and networking sessions.
* Manage event logistics, speaker coordination, and post-event follow-up to maximize engagement and business impact.
Market & Competitor Observation
* Conduct ongoing market and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats in the automotive industry.
* Integrate insights from market research and competitor observations into content strategy and campaign development.
Strategic Partnerships
* Support the negotiation and development of partnership concepts to enhance Mobile.de’s B2B automotive presence.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to identify synergies and optimize campaign performance.
* Assist in the implementation and management of influencer and partnership agreements.
Campaign Management & Optimization
* Support the development and execution of key campaigns across the portfolio, focusing on activation, retention, and reactivation goals.
* Use a data-first approach to analyze performance drivers and optimize channel ROI.
* Analyze and report on campaign KPIs to key stakeholders, providing actionable insights.
* Provide project management support to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
Technical & Analytical Excellence
* Leverage technology and digital tools to optimize campaign effectiveness and efficiency.
* Apply strong quantitative and analytical skills to continuously improve campaign and content performance.
* Stay up to date with automotive industry trends, tools, and best practices in B2B performance marketing.
Your Profile:
* 6+ years of hands-on experience in B2B content management, marketing, or communications
* Strong automotive industry expertise: Solid understanding of automotive B2B markets, trends, and audience needs.
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
* Proven experience in sponsorships and collaborations: Skilled in developing and executing partnership and influencer agreements, including contract handling and approval processes.
* Hands-on mentality and proactive approach: Comfortable executing campaigns, solving problems, and driving innovation independently.
* Strong cross-functional mindset: Thrives in collaborative environments, working closely with diverse teams (Sales, Brand, Product, Creative, Analytics).
* Exceptional people skills: A true people person, able to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders.
* Advanced analytical ability: Strong quantitative skills; uses data to evaluate performance and inform decisions.
* Experience in market and competitor analysis: Integrates insights into content and campaign development.
* High proficiency in both German (native or equivalent) and English (business fluent): Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
