Requirements & Role Overview
Staff 360 is recruiting farm machinery operators for Australia’s 2026 seasonal cropping and harvest programs, covering the full production cycle across QLD, NSW, VIC, SA and WA.
Work is available immediately for suitable candidates, with the main seasonal flow as follows:
* Pre-seeding & summer cropping — from February onwards
* Cotton harvest & general cropping — through autumn and winter
* Winter seeding — late autumn through winter
* Wheat harvest, hay & straw programs — from September / October onwards
Candidates may apply to work a single season or remain on continuously through the full production cycle into harvest.
Candidate Requirements
* Farming background preferred
* Experience servicing and maintaining farm machinery
* Experience operating modern machinery with GPS highly regarded
* All experience levels considered
* Training provided for suitable applicants
Role Duties May Include:
Pre-Seeding & Cropping
* Machinery servicing and pre-season maintenance
* Tractor operations: tramline renovation, spreading, fertilizing, spraying, earthworks
Seeding Operations
* Operating tractors with 40ft–60ft and up to 80ft planters and air seeders
* Rock pickers, front-end loaders, chaser bins
* Support trucks for filling seeders
Cotton Harvest
* Operating John Deere cotton pickers and strippers
* Loader work for moving and stacking cotton bales
Wheat Harvest, Hay & Straw
* Header operation for wheat harvest
* Chaser bin driving (ideal for those wishing to stay on later in the year)
* Square baler operation for hay and straw
* General harvest support
