The primary role of the Enterprise Financial Services function is to provide transactional accounting services including, but not limited to, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash and Record-to-Report.
Key deliverables include, but not limited to, compiling and analyzing financial information, preparing balance sheet, income statement, and other reports. Assist in preparation and accurate completion of periodic internal & external financial regulatory & statutory reports.
The EFS department comprises the General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll teams. It is responsible for the accurate accounting of all relevant business transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and for timely monthly reporting to ResMed Group Finance for consolidation.
Let’s talk about the role:
1. Lead accounting services for all ResMed Germany entities (P2P, Expenses, Payroll, O2C, R2R)
2. Ensure accurate financial processes comply with policies and regulations
3. Collaborate with FP&A and GPOs on business partnering and process improvement
4. Deliver accounting services meeting KPIs; drive change and process standardization
5. Work with stakeholders to ensure system adoption and high customer satisfaction
6. Support Oracle FUSION implementation and other system upgrades
7. Manage third-party service providers (e.g., Payroll)
8. Assist EFS Director EMEA in executing ResMed 2030 strategy and Finance Operating Model
9. Remove obstacles to achieve goals
10. Manage team performance, recruitment, and HR actions with People Team
11. Prepare US GAAP and HGB financial statements and reconciliations
12. Optimize internal controls (IKS) and conduct monthly SOX checks
13. Coordinate audits with internal and external auditors
Let’s talk about the you:
14. Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
15. 10+ years leading finance teams in local/shared services
16. Experience with ERP systems (MS Navision, ORACLE preferred)
17. Professional accounting qualification (internationally recognized)
18. Strong communicator and team leader; drives innovation and improvements
19. Skilled problem-solver with a proactive, can-do attitude
20. Collaborative with strong change management skills
21. Thrives in agile, fast-paced, matrixed environments
22. Deep knowledge of HGB and US GAAP accounting standards
23. Experienced in business partnering, budgeting, and forecasting analysis
24. Strong proficiency in German and English is required
