The role We are in the market to find a Technical Director, Bridges, who will bring decades of experience into our organisation, leading major projects as a Bridges Technical Director. The role will involve working with Engineers, Owners, and Contractors in the consulting and engineering space for both client‑side and Design & Build/Alliance projects. The title of Technical/Project Director is a position within Ramboll anchored in the Transport market within the Spearhead – Major Projects. You will be asked for your experience, passion, perspective, energy, enthusiasm, and connections to help us in our evolution journey. As our Major Projects Director you will have a broad mandate to support existing and future engineering and design major projects, key transport initiatives and develop future opportunities and the wider German bridges market. You will be part of the Major Projects Spearhead with teams in Finland, Denmark and the UK delivering some of the most complex bridge projects on the market. Within Ramboll you will work closely with over 400 bridge design colleagues in other departments and geographies. Ramboll’s bridge teams work collectively on large projects, bringing the best of international and local designers together to execute successful projects. The role is to be based in either Hamburg or Berlin. Short‑term international travel is to be expected as is reasonable with a senior position of this nature.
