Join to apply for the Custom Consulting Lead role at Microsoft. The Custom Consulting Team in Industry Solutions Delivery accelerates adoption of the Microsoft platform and AI Transformation, with a global organization of experts, data scientists, architects, consultants, and delivery specialists.
As an EMEA Custom Consulting Executive in our Custom Consulting Team, you will lead, orchestrate and drive customer value through complex deal making, expanding Microsoft’s AI Transformation influence and strategic partnership footprint. You will own large strategic opportunities from inception to successful business outcomes and present cutting-edge solutions that enhance cloud adoption for customers. This role is flexible and can be performed up to 50% from home.

Responsibilities
* Partner with local leaders and sales teams, establishing strong partnerships and driving a consistent Cross-CSA approach aligned to company strategy; employ a regional approach to meet customer needs with strong stakeholder engagement (SPT and Area MCAPSSales teams).
* Bring impactful technology and industry insights into customer engagements; close deals with customers and coach internal teams on how to do this. Leverage deep sales and delivery experience to drive a consultative sale and build trust with C-level executives.
* Influence Microsoft’s strategic direction across markets; lead virtual cross-organizational teams on strategic projects and high-impact solution deployments that enable digital transformation and deliver business value. Leverage CSA assets and consulting IP to deliver customer transformation.
* Participate in sales planning, orchestration and deal closure using Microsoft’s sales methodology. Shape and sell custom consulting solutions with technical acumen to maximize Microsoft investments.
* Provide deal coaching and cross-area learning to benefit customers and the wider Microsoft teams; work with the wider account team to drive consumption and put AI at the forefront of activities.
* Continuously build sales expertise and Transformative solutions knowledge to support customers and the wider One Microsoft team; invest in personal development.
Qualifications
* Strong experience in solution-based selling across one or more CSAs; able to position cross-CSA offerings and align customer needs with our portfolio.
* Experience selling into commercial or public sector accounts with the ability to tailor solutions to industry-specific needs and contribute to account planning.
* Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and navigating C-level relationships; capable of driving executive meetings and articulating the value proposition of our solutions.
* Exposure to consulting or solution architecture; ability to collaborate with technical and consulting teams to develop and propose customer solutions.
* Experience driving the sales cycle for digital transformation initiatives and positioning solutions aligned with transformation goals.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field with proven industry sales experience in commercial or public sector (e.g., Finance, Local Government); or a Master’s Degree with strong technology sales background.
* Substantial experience in consulting solution sales and delivery is highly desirable.
