This will be your impact.
* As a Senior Currency Manager (f/m/d), you provide advisory services on FX management to commercial managers in sales, execution, procurement, and manufacturing in the bidding and execution phase (planned and contracted business) and support in the resolution of complex FX related issues on a daily basis.
* You identify and analyze foreign currency risks, develop hedging strategies and align these with different Siemens businesses.
* You design and conduct foreign currency management trainings.
* You will bridge the gap between FX risk management and technology. As such, you will support CF F TRM in future proofing our processes and bringing them to the next technological level.
* You initiate and are part of digitalization and automation initiatives that leverage technology to operationally enhance global Currency Manager processes.
* You play an active role in projects to enhance IT applications and processes in the Treasury environment and act as a link between development teams, accounting, commercial project managers, and other collaborators.
This is how you'll win us over :
* Education: Bachelor´s degree in business informatics, business administration, finance or equivalent
* Experience & Skills:
o Several years of experience in the Treasury environment, commercial management or finance department of an international company, ideally as part of the FX process
o Extended know-how of international financial markets
o Knowledge of international accounting standards with respect to FX relevant rules and regulations
o Strong interest in digitalized solutions, in particular in the Treasury sector
o Experience and interest in participating or leading digitalization initiatives
o First experience in process automation or data analysis, ideally in finance and accounting, and in implementing or piloting AI use cases is advantageous
o Knowledge about low-code tools, such as Power BI, Power Apps, and Knime
* Ways of working:
o Strong communication and presentation skills and experience interacting with different collaborators at all levels of management
o Strong ability to work in a team and collaboratively across functions in a dynamic environment as well as intercultural strength
* Languages: Business proficiency in German and English; additional languages are highly welcome
