You'll make an impact by
* Contributing to the development and enhancement of Power BI dashboards used to analyze and monitor the performance of a global digital marketplace
* Working with real world data by collecting, cleaning, and structuring datasets from multiple sources (e.g. platform performance, transactions, and operational systems) to support reliable analytics
* Supporting data quality assurance by running checks, reviewing monitoring views, and documenting findings to help identify and resolve data issues early
* Applying your hands-on experience with automation and notification workflows, for example by supporting solutions built with Apache Airflow and Power Automate
* Helping maintain technical and business documentation, including short release notes, change summaries, and internal enablement materials, to support adoption of analytics solutions
* In collaboration with experienced data engineers, assisting in building and optimizing ETL pipelines using Apache Airflow, Snowflake, and the Power BI Service, learning how scalable data ingestion is implemented in practice
* Supporting the analysis and preparation of data driven insights, helping translate complex datasets into clear outputs that inform decision making across business, operations, finance, and product development
This is how you'll win us over
* Education: You are currently enrolled in a master's program and hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Informatics, or a related discipline
* Experience and Skills:
o First experience as a data analyst or data scientist, preferably in e-commerce or digital marketplaces
o Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL, as well as experience with data engineering tools like Apache Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Hive, and ETL/ELT pipelines
o Solid understanding of data modeling, data quality monitoring, AI-assisted analytics, machine learning and automation concepts
o Skilled in using visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau and other tools including Docker, Git, and PowerAutomate
* Ways of Working: You are a highly committed team player with strong motivation, resilience, and a willingness to learn
* Languages: Excellent English communication skills, ideally complemented by German proficiency
