Customer Service Representative / Inside Sales (m/w/d)

at our location in Schwalbach am Taunus (permanent and full-time)

As a customer service representative in the EMEAI Commercial Operations Team, you are a key interface between customers and the company. Through excellent service, you support customers and internal partners, thereby making a direct contribution to Olin's profitability. As part of the sales organization, you actively promote customer satisfaction and business success, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.


Key responsibilities:

1. ·Act as the communication link between Sales, Demand Planning, Logistics, and key support functions such as Product Stewardship, Trade Compliance, and Quality.

2. ·Coordinate supply and service needs across an international network of internal and external partners

3. ·Manage routine and complex customer orders end‑to‑end in SAP S/4HANA including Consignment, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high‑quality service throughout the Order‑to‑Cash cycle.

4. ·Analyze SAP data report (SAC) to identify issues and drive timely corrective actions

5. ·Process customer non conformances and claims, ensuring timely and clear feedback

6. ·Ensure precise and accurate order entry, applying strong problem-solving skills to effectively manage complex scenarios and exceptions.

7. ·Provide high quality support for Supply Chain and Sales, including global accounts, by managing customer demand, operating supplier portals and monitoring customer delivery processes.

8. ·Proactively identify customer needs, find suitable solutions and act quickly in the event of service problems to provide immediate relief and initiate necessary follow-up measures in the complaint process

9. ·Differentiate between customer requirements and available offerings, selecting the most suitable and cost-effective solution to meet business and customer objectives

10. ·Identify and fix process gaps and weaknesses in procedures, interfaces and systems and report them to customer service management to drive continuous improvement

Qualification:

11. ·Commercial vocational qualification or bachelor’s degree in commerce

12. ·3 to 5 years’ experience in service / customer facing roles

13. ·Background in coordinating export orders for EMEAI customers is beneficial

14. ·Proficiency in English – fluent German, Italian, French or Spanish are preferred

15. ·Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously while effectively prioritizing to meet both customer and business deadlines

16. ·Strong business acumen with the confidence to take initiative and ownership in resolving challenging customer situations

17. ·Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills

18. ·Self‑driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

19. ·Good knowledge of various systems ( SAP, MS-Office)
