Key Responsibilities
As a Business Development Manager, you will oversee the implementation of business objectives among sales, marketing, and business development professionals. This involves comparing current sales numbers to desired quotas, delegating tasks among team members, and meeting with upper management to discuss progress.
You will identify new business opportunities and potential markets with expected revenue generation in a 3-5 year timeframe. Additionally, you will develop and manage relationships with external partners and ecosystems, facilitating growth opportunities with strategic partners.
Qualifications and Skills
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in an engineering or equivalent role.
* 2+ years' experience in a similar business development or marketing role.
* 12-15 years' experience in the semiconductor industry with a semiconductor manufacturer.
* Experience with microcontroller and/or firmware-related products.
* Strong influencing skills to communicate effectively up and down in a matrix organization.
* International travel experience in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
* Demonstrated ability to present complex technical topics to audiences from engineering to C-level in public and private forums.
* Demonstrated ability to publish material suitable for tradeshows/conference/publications.
* Fluency in English and German is required.
