For one of our properties on the island of Usedom, we are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial General Manager to lead the property into its next chapter of growth and excellence.

The Strandhotel Ahlbeck, located on the beautiful island of Usedom directly by the Baltic Sea, combines elegant tradition with modern comfort.
Position Overview:
As General Manager, you will be fully responsible for the operational and strategic leadership of the hotel. You will act as host, entrepreneur and brand ambassador – ensuring outstanding guest experiences while driving financial performance and team development.
Your responsibilities:
• Full P&L responsibility and economic performance of the property
• Lead, inspire and develop all department heads and teams
• Ensure highest guest satisfaction and quality standards
• Oversee daily operations across all departments (Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Sales, etc.)
• Develop and execute commercial strategies in collaboration with HQ
• Drive revenue management, budgeting and cost control
• Represent the hotel towards guests, partners and local stakeholders
• Support repositioning, renovation or brand development projects if required

Your profile
• Several years of experience in a General Manager / Hotel Director role
• Strong commercial acumen and P&L management skills
• Leadership personality with hands-on mentality
• Experience in branded and/or lifestyle hotel environments
• Structured, solution-oriented and resilient mindset
• Fluent in German and English
• Passion for hospitality and building high-performing teams
