For our european Distribution Center in Weil am Rhein, we are looking for an experienced IT Solution Architect (m/f/x) who will play a key role in shaping the further development of our system, integration, and data architecture. In this role, you will take responsibility for central IT domains and work closely with Business, BPM, and Engineering.
Your responsibilities
* Responsibility for the system, integration, and data architecture of selected IT domains (e.g., ERP, B2C, wholesale, logistics, BI), including definition and further development of the target architecture and roadmap
* Translation of requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solution designs (application, integration, data, infrastructure)
* Creation and maintenance of architecture documentation such as solution blueprints and system, integration, and data flow diagrams
* Further development and application of IT architecture standards for systems, integration, and data, taking into account security, compliance, and performance requirements
* Lifecycle management of central applications and platforms, including modernization, replacement, and reduction of complexity
* Close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to provide technical advice and decision support
* Close coordination with the BPM team to ensure seamless integration of process and system architecture
* Creating transparency across the system landscape, interfaces, and data flows and consolidating them in a targeted manner
* Coaching and promoting best practices in architecture, modularization, and automation
Your profile
* Completed IT vocational training or studies with a focus on IT
* Several years of experience as a Solution Architect, System Architect, or Lead Engineer in an enterprise environment
* In-depth knowledge of complex IT landscapes, integration, and cloud and hybrid platforms
* Experience with architecture and modeling approaches and the creation of comprehensible architecture documentation
* Analytical strength, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills
* Very Good English and German language skills for effective communication with international colleagues
