Hauptaufgaben
Plans and lays out the routing, placement, slant, slope and fall and proper operation of utility systems, equipment and apparatus. Applies the full variety of theoretical and practical knowledge's of trade practices; interprets building plans and area line maps, engineer drawings and uses formulas basic to the trade to figure out such things as pipe dimensions, scope and fall.
Performs alterations and enlargements on utility systems in barrack type buildings, hospitals or other structures which provide for a combination and variety of plumbing systems, e.g. water purification, chlorination, sanitary sewer, storm and drainage Facilities.
Hangs or lays pipe sections into positions; assembles joints, valves and apparatus below and above ground types. Operate and repair Pump/Lift Stations, rainwater retention systems, oil, grease and starch separators, vehicles & aircraft wash racks and fire hydrants and the pipes for this systems, under and above ground types, up to large diameter (Water DN50-DN225 & sewer/storm DN50-DN2000). Additional knowledge, measurements and control technology, for former systems (Kenntnisse in Mess & Regeltechnik.
Inspects and tests piping systems after completion of alterations and enlargements for proper tightness and safe functioning. in the performance of large size projects as required is assisted by a plumber or helper in a lower-wage group.
Lays glazed or unglazed clay, concrete or cast iron, PVC, PE or stainless steel pipes including connections, fittings, couplings, reducers, elbows, crosses, angles, etc. to form sanitary or storm sewers and drains; directs and participates in the excavation of holes and ditches, smoothing bottom trench to proper elevation; adjust pipes and seals joints with sealing compound. Cleans wastewater systems, gutters, grease traps, starch collectors, mud traps, Oil separation systems, storm water retention basins, sewer and storm lift & pumping systems etc. Cleans and empties drainpipes and gully holes; drains access-pools; searches and eliminates stoppages of drainage systems; replaces pipes, connecting links, reservoirs of gutters. Regularly inspects the sewer and drainage systems; locates stoppages of sewer and drainage mains and removes same. Drives a heavy special purpose motor vehicle used for flushing sewers. Needs driver license class C, Trucks (without trailers possible).
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifikationsanforderungen
A4-4206-05:
Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung in der entsprechenden Gewerbegruppe mit einer Ausbildungsdauer von mindestens 30 Monaten.
Completed vocational training of at least 30 months in the appropriate trade.

5 Jahre einschlägige Berufserfahrung.
5 years of specialized experience.

Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung in der entsprechenden Gewerbegruppe mit einer Ausbildungsdauer von mindestens 30 Monaten, PLUS 2 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Lohngruppe 5 oder in, vom Schwierigkeitsgrad vergleichbaren Tätigkeiten, welche selbständig ausgeübt wurden.
Completed vocational training in the appropriate trade PLUS 2 years experience at a level of difficulty comparable to the Wage Group 5 or equivalent. The applicant must be able to perform the duties independently.

8 Jahre einschlägige Berufserfahrung von denen mindestens 3 Jahre in der Lohngruppe 5 oder vergleichbaren Tätigkeiten ausgeübt wurden.
8 years of specialized experience of which 3 years must have been performed at the wage group 5 or equivalent level.
