Copywriter
The Tectonic Copywriter will impress clients and colleagues with your creativity and thinking! Create new and unique concepts for our clients’ brands, using information gathered from research, account management, and strategy Write clear and persuasive copy that communicates directly to the target audience (consumers, patients, payors, caregivers, or healthcare professionals) Create copy that communicates across a variety of media channels (from traditional print and broadcast, to digital, video, web, mobile, email, etc.) Work closely with art directors and the entire creative team to produce new and effective advertising campaigns Be responsible for checking in with your manager more formally on at least a weekly basis to discuss any concerns or issues you’re having with assignments or to just discuss the status of certain projects Articulate and defend your ideas in meetings and presentations, but also be open to constructive critique, including client feedback Listen carefully & be able to properly interpret information from client meetings Be a stickler for detail, accuracy and grammar Manage your time efficiently to meet deadlines Start to partner closely with cross functional teammates, like the brand planner, account director, UX associates (for digital projects); medical directors, and editors Begin to present your ideas to the client (with the supervision of your manager, as appropriate) Look for opportunities to help on pitches, partnering with an art director for concepting Be flexible and ready for anything—this is advertising!
