Who we are
STS Verification International GmbH (“SVI”, www.svi-gmbh.com) is a specialised service provider in the area of structured finance, providing third-party verification of securitisation transactions across Europe. SVI is a 100% subsidiary of True Sale International GmbH (“TSI”, www.true-sale-international.de) established in 2004 and owned by some of the leading German and international banks from the private, public and cooperative sectors.
SVI is a third-party verifier pursuant to Article 28 of the European Securitisation Regulation approved and supervised by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) as a Competent Authority. As such, its purpose is to verify compliance of securitisation transactions with the STS (‘simple, transparent, standardised‘) criteria according to Articles 18 to 26e of the Securitisation Regulation. In practice this results in a very interesting combination of regulatory, legal and data analysis and commercial work performed with the securitising bank, leasing and corporate institutions.
As a company, SVI combines the flexibility and agility of a small enterprise with a shareholder background rooted deeply in the German and international bank markets and a wide-reaching network of clients (originators, financing banks, ABCP sponsor banks) as well as other market participants (regulators, central banks, arrangers, investors, law firms, rating agencies, audit firms etc.) across Europe. Based on this, SVI has, since the beginning of its operations in early 2019, built a track record of more than 300 verified transactions across Europe in ABCP, non-ABCP and synthetic balance sheet securitisations in the various asset classes. SVI has a reputation in the market for its professionalism, proactive approach and reliability.

Responsibilities
* Preparation of STS verification reports and related regulatory, legal, data and due diligence analysis for non-ABCP, ABCP and synthetic securitisations
* Ongoing interaction with SVI’s clients and other market participants
* Liaise and work with SVI’s outsourcing partners (TSI and other external professionals and companies)
* Participation in due diligence meetings with originators and arranging banks
* Origination of new verification mandates and marketing of SVI’s activities in selected markets
* Preparation of information in relation to the securitisation market and STS segment
What we expect
* Qualified professional with at least 3 years (Associate), 5–10 years (Associate Director), or 10+ years (Director) of relevant experience in the securitisation market
* Background in audit, banking, insurance, investment industry, law firm or regulatory body
* Established network with securitisation market participants in Europe
* Experience in synthetic securitisation is a plus
* Academic degree (Bachelor or Master)
* Self-motivated and proactive team player with attention to detail and eagerness to learn
* Strong analytical, interpersonal and project management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Fluent in English; additional European language (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Dutch, Polish) highly preferred; fluency in German helpful but not mandatory
