Position Overview:
As the Head of BESS Germany, you will lead the development and expansion of our battery energy storage solutions in Germany. Your role includes building a project pipeline of several hundred MW, guiding projects from inception to operational management, and influencing strategic direction within the company. You will be a key member of the German senior management team, shaping the future of renewable energy and energy storage in the region.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute strategies for stand-alone and hybrid battery energy storage projects aligned with company goals.
2. Collaborate with commercial teams to shape business models and strategies.
3. Partner with Business Development and M&A teams to source and co-develop projects.
4. Conduct financial modeling, ensure regulatory compliance, and adapt strategies to market changes.
5. Build partnerships with stakeholders such as developers, grid operators, and industry representatives.
6. Work with finance to secure project funding.
7. Coordinate with operational teams to bring projects to NTP, ensuring smooth transition into operations.
8. Leverage experience in German power markets and renewable energy investments.
9. Deep understanding of German energy market regulations and grid services.
10. Proven track record in project development, financial modeling, and revenue optimization.
11. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
12. Fluency in German and English.
13. Demonstrated leadership and collaborative mindset.
14. Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
15. Passion for leading the transition to clean energy and building lasting relationships.
