Production & Operations focuses on designing, managing, and improving production processes and business operations, as well as manufacturing technologies and supply chains. The role involves working with modern systems such as SAP and dashboards, some of which are self-programmed. This is a cross-functional and international environment that offers performance-driven, diverse challenges and exciting projects.
You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
* Development, integration, and optimization of automation systems for fully automated production facilities, taking OT standards into account
* Design and implementation of control solutions using PLC, HMI, SCADA, and other relevant systems such as MES integration (REST API interfaces, general database connections)
* Responsibility for the commissioning of automation solutions, troubleshooting, and conducting tests to ensure functionality, including ensuring seamless integration between IT and OT systems, including network configurations, security requirements, and data transmission
* Responsibility for the management of automation projects, including scheduling and resource management
* Creation of technical documentation, operating manuals, and training materials, as well as training employees and users on new automation solutions, along with continuous operational support
This is what you bring to us:
* Completed studies in the field of automation technology or a comparable qualification
* Extensive experience in programming and configuring PLCs (Siemens and Beckhoff), HMI/SCADA systems, as well as basic knowledge in Visual Basic and safety programming is desirable
* Practical experience in commissioning and troubleshooting automation systems, as well as basic knowledge in the OT field, particularly in the integration and operation of automation systems
* Very good knowledge of communication and network technologies (e.g., Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OpcUA, MQTT) and experience in dealing with cybersecurity and OT security standards
* Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, basic knowledge in robot programming (KUKA) is desirable
