Purpose of job
As the PR and Communications manager, you will be helping to drive STB Frankfurt’s integrated communications plans and marketing initiatives to ensure maximum destination awareness in DACH towards achieving visitor arrivals and tourism receipts targets. This includes public relations, media initiatives, brand and media partnerships and other consumer outreach programs and activities which dovetail and/or align with the overall messages and key objectives of STB’s overarching marketing strategies and plans.
As the Digital Marketing and Communications manager, you will be helping to drive STB Germany's integrated digital marketing & communications plans to ensure maximum destination awareness in the DACH region towards achieving visitor arrivals and tourism receipts targets. This includes but is not limited to:
Development and execution of holistic comms strategy involving varied touch points (earned print and online media, brand and media partnerships and other consumer outreach programs and activities which dovetail and/or align with the overall messages and key objectives of STB’s overarching marketing strategies and plans.
You will drive a strong and creative narrative in the promotion and marketing of Singapore, always showcasing Singapore in a refreshed and relevant manner to the media and our target audience.
Develop and drive a strong, dynamic and nimble digital/social strategy that will help Singapore has an always-on presence on key social platforms and integrate Singapore into social conversation to stay top-of-mind as a leisure and business destination. Supplementing our always-on strategy, you would also conceptualize and execute an annual creative marketing and digital campaigns and brand partnerships towards achieving STB’s desired business objectives,
You will be supported by a PR and Marketing agency who will work collaboratively with you to deliver the above desired outcomes.
You will also be collaborating with the various business units in STB’s Headquarters (HQ) in Singapore as well as the different teams within the STB Europe office to synergize and execute your plans.
Key responsibilities include (not exhaustive):
Planning and execution of creative digital/social media always-on strategy year-round and an annual campaign/activation.
Working with the agency to drive social media integration and content amplification tactics. Experience in managing and driving engagement in online communities such as Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and Instagram.
Facilitating content creator trips and/or broadcasting filming trips to Singapore.
Work with agency to develop and execute earned media strategy, including drafting of media materials, pitches and media engagement events, answering
to press queries. Cultivate good relations with media to generate media interest to write about Singapore.
Identify and manage brand partnerships which support digital and traditional media efforts. The candidate should be able to identify how these brand partnerships can be amplified via STB’s range of PR, digital and paid media efforts, to achieve a cohesive communications program.
Manage influencers/ key opinion leader (KOL) programs, which may include recommending or vetting (whether as part of agency’s proposed strategy or resulting from an ad-hoc request) influencers for potential engagement and executing said influencer engagement.
Manage and advise internal and relevant external stakeholders on STB Germany's digital and traditional media strategies.
Manage an annual budget for digital and marketing campaigns.
Be abreast of media landscape, tourism and consumer market trends, adapting initiatives to capitalize on trends and opportunities.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience and PR and Marketing / Digital Marketing agency
Strong knowledge of digital and media landscape in DACH
Good feel for the pulse of the consumer market in DACH
Ability to develop innovative and creative concepts
Experience in online community management
Developed and managed influencers
Resourceful and independent, able to deliver quality work with limited supervision
Strong analytical skills
Good presentation, written and spoken communication skills in English and German
Good interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders and partners
