Activities:
Document management in the PLM environment:
* Setting up, maintaining, and further developing documentation systems to support the entire product lifecycle—from development to operation to maintenance.
* Technical documentation: Creation and updating of user-oriented technical documents (e.g., manuals, user guides, FAQs)
* Change and configuration management: Integration of technical changes into documentation, taking into account configuration specifications and regulatory requirements.
* Interface function: Close cooperation with stakeholders to ensure consistent and comprehensible documentation of technical content.
* Quality assurance and standardisation: Structuring, illustration, and quality assurance of documentation in accordance with industry-specific standards and customer requirements.
* Collaboration platforms and tools: Administration and use of PLM-relevant platforms for document control and support of technical review processes.
Skills:
Required:
* Degree or training in information technology, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
* Several years of professional experience in technical documentation, ideally in the aviation, defence, or infrastructure industry
* Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Ability to describe complex technical content in a comprehensible and didactically correct manner
* Fluent German and very good English skills
Optional:
* Experience with document management systems such as SharePoint or ThinkProject
* Knowledge of the application of the ASD specification S1000D or similar standards
* Enthusiasm for editorial processes and new technologies
* Experience with technical review processes and collaboration platforms
