1. Develop and implement computational pipelines for processing and analyzing ONT RNA/cDNA sequencing data.
2. Apply machine learning and signal processing approaches to classify cap types from raw signal traces.
3. Collaborate closely with experimental researchers to guide experimental design and interpret data.
4. Contribute to publications, presentations, and open-source tools related to the project.
Required Qualifications
5. PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
6. Strong programming skills (, Python, R, C/C++) and experience with high-throughput sequencing data.
7. Solid understanding of RNA biology, transcriptomics, and epitranscriptomics.
Desirable Skills
8. Experience with Nanopore sequencing (RNA, cDNA, or DNA).
9. Familiarity with machine learning, particularly in biological data contexts.
10. Skills in signal processing, particularly time-series or nanopore signal data.
11. Experience working in interdisciplinary teams.
