Job Description
We are looking for you as a Director Joint Venture Management / M&A (m/f/diverse) to support our area Finance and Controlling at the Headquarter in Frankfurt.
Core Responsibilities
 * Lead the overall financial management of the AUMOVIO Group’s joint ventures (affiliates, associates and participations)
 * Develop and execute strategies to maximize value, synergies, and long-term returns from joint ventures
 * Serve as the primary point of contact with JV boards, management teams, and external partners
 * Support negotiations of new joint ventures, amendments, extensions, financing events or exits
 
Financial Perspective
 * Oversee financial performance of joint ventures, including budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation, and dividend management
 * Monitor and analyze JV performance against business plans, KPIs, and contractual obligations and identify improvements and risk mitigation strategies
 * Identify and execute exit strategies for non-strategic joint ventures
 
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
 * Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with JV partners, regulators, and internal stakeholders
 * Manage communications between the AUMOVIO Group and joint ventures
 
Governance Perspective
 * Ensure JV governance structures, policies, and practices comply with contractual, legal, and regulatory obligations and establish best practices for JV governance and performance management
 * Represent AUMOVIO Group on JV boards, committees, or management teams as needed
Qualifications
The ideal candidate (m/f/diverse) will possess the following qualifications:
 * Academic degree in economics, business administration, other academic studies with relation to investment and M&A contents or equivalent education
 * Long-term experience in global Joint Venture Management and M&A in a global corporate organization
 * Proven experience managing complex stakeholder relationships across different cultures and geographies and ability to work effectively across multiple projects simultaneously
 * Strong financial skills, including experience deal structuring and investment analysis
 * Deep knowledge of corporate governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks
 * Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
 * Fluent English and German skills (both written and spoken)
 * High level of communication skills, cross-cultural competence and negotiation skills
 * Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
