Your responsibilities
1. Support the creation and enhancement of Market Analysis’ dashboards and the data analytics tasks
2. Research and analyze market data to understand different aspects of the market (e.g. supply, demand, pipelines, storage etc.) and reveal areas for improvement
3. Process and structure market data to ensure seamless integration into reporting tools
4. Collaborate with the team to design and implement automated data pipelines for efficient dashboard updates
5. Support the development of end-user reports and dashboards that provide meaningful insights to stakeholders at Uniper
6. Assist the Market Analysis team in refining and presenting visualizations to support decision-making processes
Your profile
7. Quantitative background and degree (e.g. mathematics, engineering, economics) with excellent interim results
8. Technical knowledge: Proficiency in Power BI or similar business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) is required, knowledge of programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python or R) is advantageous.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical capabilities, strong interest in using quantitative methods to solve problems and provide insights
10. Knowledge of energy markets, especially natural gas and LNG, and fundamental market economics in general would be advantageous
11. Team player with a high degree of self-motivation with ability to present and describe findings and results comprehensibly
12. Proficient knowledge of the English language
