Serious Games Solutions is a leading German developer of serious games. For 20 years, we have been developing sophisticated, effective serious games for our customers in the medical, industrial, and educational sectors. Our sister studio, 16 Tons Entertainment, is the studio behind Emergency HQ, a profitable and growing mobile game.
About the Role:
As a UI/UX designer, you are responsible for creating functional user interface designs for various platforms on time and to a high standard. You are part of an ambitious team of developers and work closely with the design department, programming, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
* Competitive analysis, requirements engineering, and prototyping
* Content design of intuitive and aesthetic UI designs for various games in accordance with the technical and visual specifications of the respective platforms
* Creation of UI wireframes and mockups, e.g., with Balsamiq
* Creative involvement in the design of our games
Requirements:
* You have 3+ years of professional experience in game development.
* You are proficient in a UI wireframe tool (e.g., Balsamiq) and ideally also Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
* You have a good sense of contemporary and target group-oriented design.
* You are familiar with games (casual games and core games) and can demonstrate completed projects.
* The working language is German, but you are also fluent in written and spoken English.
* Experience with Unity 3D and/or the Unreal Engine is an advantage.
Nice to Have:
* Experience with Unity UI Toolkit
* Experience with HTML, CSS and Flutter
* Experience with mobile optimization and asset management
* A passion for clean, intuitive, and responsive UI in games
