Job Title: HR Business Partner - Online Retail

Reports To: Europe HRBP Leader
Responsibilities
1.Strategic Partnership:
* Advise senior leaders on org design, workforce planning, and change management for scalable growth.
* Develop data-driven people strategies to support business unit goals (e.g., seasonal peak planning, automation impacts).
2. Talent Management:
* Lead end-to-end talent processes: workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, and retention strategies.
* Design career frameworks and development programs tailored to retail/tech roles.
3. Employee Relations & Culture:
* Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with German labor law (Betriebsverfassungsgesetz, AGG, BDSG).
* Foster inclusion, engagement, and a feedback-rich culture aligned with company values.
4. Operational Excellence:
* Optimize HR processes (onboarding, offboarding, mobility) for efficiency in a digital-first setting.
* Analyze HR metrics (attrition, engagement, productivity) to identify trends and propose solutions.
5. Change Leadership:
* Support organizational transformations (e.g., restructuring, M&A integration) with clear communication and stakeholder management.
6. Compliance Policy:
* Ensure all HR practices comply with German regulations (e.g., works council cooperation, GDPR).
* Update policies to reflect legal changes and industry best practices.
Requirements:
* Fluency in German (C1+/native) & English: Ability to negotiate with works councils, draft legal documents, and advise stakeholders in German.
* Proven HRBP Experience: 5+ years in strategic HR partnering, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or tech-driven sectors.
* Deep Knowledge of German Labor Law: Expertise in Betriebsverfassungsgesetz, KSchG, AGG, BDSG, Entgeltgleichheit, and Mitbestimmung.
* Business Acumen: Understanding of online retail metrics, supply chain dynamics, and digital transformation.
* Consulting Skills: Ability to influence leaders, navigate ambiguity, and solve complex people problems. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business, Law, or related field.
