Your responsibilities: Build the team & technology: You will not only design and implement our technical AI infrastructure—from LLM hosting to SAP integration—but also play a pioneering role in building GAG’s future AI team. Evaluate tech & set standards: You scout high-performance models, frameworks, and tools for GAG, define best practices for prompt engineering and RAG systems, and establish our AI governance. You present your recommendations to the Executive Board with the same confidence you show to your colleagues. Transform the service experience: Together with our customer service team, you will develop AI-powered solutions to automate standard inquiries via email, the customer app, and phone. Develop Text2SQL solutions: You will create optimized Text2SQL solutions and, in collaboration with our business units, enable natural language access to data from business planning, portfolio management, and reporting. Ensure data quality: By implementing smart AI tools, you will help detect inconsistencies in our master data, identify duplicates, and recommend corrections. Automate document processing: You will develop AI agents that extract information (e.g., from minutes, construction documents, or expert reports) and convert it into structured processes. Your Profile: You have successfully completed a degree in (Business) Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable qualification. Alternatively, you can also impress us with demonstrable practical experience. You have several years of hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG systems, and the integration of AI systems into enterprise architectures. In addition, you are familiar with workflow orchestration (e.g., n8n) and have already built production-ready AI solutions. "Just do it" is your motto, and there’s a method to your approach. You don’t wait for perfect specifications; instead, you evaluate, test, iterate, and improve. In an environment where AI is still relatively new, you need patience, persuasiveness, and the ability to bounce back from setbacks.
