Your tasks
1. Design and take ownership of the SAP system architecture, including technical roadmap and operational standards
2. Manage and coordinate external service providers, ensuring compliance with SLAs and quality targets
3. Plan and implement security, compliance, and governance concepts for SAP operations
4. Evaluate new SAP technologies (e.g., S/4HANA, cloud) and develop implementation strategies
5. Design and operate SAP landscapes, including monitoring, high availability, and disaster recovery concepts
6. Plan and support changes, releases, upgrades, and system integrations in complex IT environments
7. Create technical specifications, operational concepts, and interface architectures
8. Conduct architecture reviews, audits, and performance analyses to ensure system stability and optimization
9. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and service providers in both German and English
10. Own budget planning, capacity management, risk management, and continuous process optimization
Your profile
11. At least 7+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration, including SAP S/4HANA, NetWeaver, and HANA database
12. Solid knowledge of SAP system architecture and Linux/Unix administration
13. Expertise in database management and implementation of high availability solutions
14. Proven experience in SAP CAR landscape management, Web Dispatcher, and Content Server administration
15. Skills in performance optimization, security implementation, and use of automation and system monitoring tools
16. Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills
17. Fluent in English, spoken and written
