Marketing
The eRB function is the eCommerce and digital execution engine of Reckitt. We help create a healthier, cleaner world by building shared success with our consumers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible through online channels.
Within eRB we're focused on accelerating the performance and purpose of Reckitt brands to empower a bigger, faster and bolder eCommerce and digital business. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success.
Reckitt has around 800 eCommerce people across the world. In-market roles cover areas such as online Key Accounts and Performance Marketing, regional roles work with the markets to provide specialist expertise to accelerate online growth, and our global teams cover areas such as Amazon, EB2B and Direct to Consumer.
About the role
The Brand Manager at Reckitt Benckiser is the "General Manager" of her/his brand/ segments, specifically the OTC brands.
The Brand Manager for our OTC portfolio plays a pivotal role in driving brand growth, consumer trust, and market leadership within the fast-paced FMCG healthcare environment. This role is responsible for developing and executing brand strategies that align with consumer health needs, regulatory standards, and commercial objectives. By leveraging consumer insights, market trends, and cross-functional collaboration, the Brand Manager ensures the brand remains relevant, competitive, and compliant.
The role also involves close coordination with medical, regulatory, sales, and digital teams to deliver impactful campaigns, product innovations, and go-to-market strategies that enhance brand equity and drive sustainable business growth
Your responsibilities
In summary, you'll:
• Co-determine and develop brand/portfolio strategy
• New product development and introduction into market
• Develop and co-determine whole marketing mix incl. TV copy creation and localisation, media planning, etc.
• Ensure smooth running of „daily business“, i.e. forecasting, financial planning, marketing budget control, packaging design, etc.
• Determine and manage brand P&L
• Cross-functional collaboration (Supply, Sales..)
The experience/qualifications we're looking for
• Minimum Bachelor degree in Marketing or Business Administration (Berufsakademie)
• Job experience: min 4+ years Brand Management/Product Management in extremely competitive, OTC/Pharma environment Industry.
• Experience in FMCG Branded Consumer Goods companies which use TV media: (Laundry / Food / Personal Care /Surface Care etc)
• Has managed the brand P&L and budget.
• Experience of Concept development.
• Creative campaign & copy development experience
• New Product Development
• Experience and familiarity with market research and analysis tools (Nielsen data / concept testing methods)
• Strong financial acumen
