As a software engineer, you will assist in the development, testing, and deployment of software solutions that integrate various systems and applications. You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications. In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration processes, performance, and software quality. You will follow established best practices and standards for software engineering and documentation, and continuously learn new technologies and tools to enhance integration capabilities and efficiency. A successful candidate will have a passion for good coding practices and an aptitude for solving intricate puzzles. This position will be filled in our office in Freiburg (Germany). Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of software solutions that integrate various systems and applications Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration processes, performance, and software quality Follow established best practices and standards for software engineering and documentation Continuously learn new technologies and tools to enhance integration capabilities and efficiency Communicate the status of assigned tasks clearly and effectively Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Practical programming skills in C# Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby Basic understanding of the software development life cycle, testing methodologies, and related tools Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders Willingness and motivation to learn new technologies and develop new skills We are accelerating the speed of research and innovation Our vision is to impact the world by integrating people and automation technologies, providing highly adaptive software and laboratory automation tools.
