Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Germany
Headquartered in Germany, our client is a leading high growth, B2B IT Services and SAAS organisation. In response to the strong growth in recent years, coupled with investment from one of Europe’s leading growth PE Funds, the organisation is now seeking a Chief Financial Officer.
The CFO will work in partnership with the CEO, the leading shareholders, and the rest of the Management Team to drive growth and business performance.. You will be integral in contributing to the strategic direction of the overall business, cementing its market position within DACH, and accelerating international growth, as a key member of the Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
Support the CEO, Executive Team & Board on business planning and long-term growth initiatives, based upon financial insights.
Drive performance management by linking financial results to operational and strategic initiatives.
Complete due diligence and other business evaluation activities in support of our future M&A activity and support the integration of newly acquired businesses.
Sponsor strong operational and financial management and reporting.
Build and deliver annual budgets and deliver regular forecasting to inform strategic decision making
Provide high-quality commercial analysis and business insight, including SaaS Reporting (ARR, NRR, churn), customer & service profitability, project performance, pricing, margin
Provide reporting to lenders and ensure ongoing compliance with all operational requirements under the debt agreements, supported by robust cashflow and covenant projections.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Proven Group CFO who has successfully led an international finance function within a medium-sized / high-growth B2B IT services & software businesses. SaaS experience would be advantageous.
Track record of professionalizing and running finance operations internationally
Strong analytical, operational, and strategic background - operational capacity to handle practical tasks, coupled with high-level strategic vision.
Track record of driving value creation initiatives (margin improvement, cost reduction, pricing optimization) from a financial perspective
Prior experience in a company with a private equity shareholder would be advantageous
Native or Fluent German speaker & fluent English is essential for this role
