Vice President, Client Services (Freelance)VICE PRESIDENT, CLIENT SERVICES (F/M/D)This role is initially offered on a freelance basis, with the option to transition into a permanent position.Reports to: Managing DirectorScope:As VP, Client Services (m/f/d), you will take the lead in managing one of our large international healthcare accounts. You will not only lead the account but also act as the primary connection between the client team in Germany and the core agency team in New York City. Your main responsibilities include ensuring high-quality client service across different markets and facilitating effective communication between global and regional stakeholders.You will serve as the main contact for the client, demonstrating proactive and solutions-oriented approaches, and maintaining a consistent presence. Regular onsite visits with the client are an important part of your role. Additionally, you will lead global status meetings and core strategic alignment sessions in collaboration with colleagues from various functions.Internally, you lead by example—establishing effective processes, ensuring highquality execution, and supporting your team’s development. Your focus will be on building sustainable, long-term client relationships and increasing profitability through strategic management and operational efficiency.Education / Qualifications / Experience:Degree in marketing, communications, business, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare agency environmentProven leadership experience managing teams, preferably across multiple regions, and working with global clientsDemonstrated success in delivering complex, integrated campaigns and marketing initiativesAbility to collaborate effectively with clients to lead a cross-functional launch involving with all stakeholdersExpertise in omnichannel marketing and cross-functional collaborationNative-level proficiency in English, fluency in German is an advantageResponsibilities:Lead and manage international client relationshipsAct as a liaison between the Germany based client team and the NYC-based global teamEnsure strategic and executional excellence across all campaigns and initiativesMaintain a regular on-site presence with the client and attend key meetingsDrive financial performance, including revenue growth and profitabilitySupport onboarding and professional development of new team membersEnsure compliance with internal standards and promote best practices across teamsStrong consulting and client management skillsStrategic thinking and solutions-oriented mindsetSound financial acumen and project management expertiseEmpathy, leadership strength, and conflict resolution skillsEffective cross-cultural and cross-functional collaboration skillsInnovative thinking and adaptabilityExcellent communication and presentation skillsTools / Systems:Proficient in MS Office, project management, and financial tracking toolsComfortable using modern AI-based toolsKPIs:Growth and profitability of the international healthcare accountClient satisfaction and retentionTeam utilization (billability) and management of overservicingRetention and professional development of team membersOmnicom Health is committed to hiring and developing exceptional talent.
