About the Role

To grow our team in Germany, we are looking for an experienced and inspiring sales leader in one of the most innovative and exciting cloud companies in the world.

This incredible opportunity is focused on leading, coaching and mentoring an amazing team of experienced Account Executives, that will help to shape the future of work for strategic accounts with our leading AI platform for managing people, money, and agents.


Responsibilities

* Lead by example, coach and empower passionate and enthusiastic sales specialists and foster collaboration, coaching, and continuous development.
* Develop strategies to create new opportunities where none previously exist
* Effectively position Workday’s unique value proposition against aggressive competitors
* Develop and manage executive relationships by conducting business driven discussions and articulating Workday's impact
* Drive Workday Culture and cross-group collaboration within the Workday sales organisation
* Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners and advisors in the industry

About You


Key qualification

* Successful track record as a first or second line leader ideally focused on new business acquisition
* Experience from the SaaS industry and working within the business applications or digital transformation space
* Demonstrable results in leading teams within complex, team-based sales environments
* Proven ability in leading complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment
* Self-starter with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
* Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday
* Experience in managing a team of highly skilled opportunity-creating and business-transformational Account Executives
* Excellent communication skills in English and German


Skills and Competencies

* True passion for delivering results through others
* High level of accountability in a high growth environment
* Well above-average written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency across a variety of selling methodologies, with existing track record of coaching or teaching these skills
