Job Description As an Electronics Development Engineer in the R&D department, you will be part of an interdisciplinary and highly skilled team. You will be responsible for the development, commissioning and testing of electronic assemblies for medical devices as well as the programming of microcontroller-based systems in compliance with applicable standards. Your responsibilities include supporting ongoing development projects, planning and coordinating technical tasks and ensuring a smooth transfer of products into production. You will collaborate closely with various departments and external partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and timely project completion. Typical areas of your responsibility are: Circuit and layout development, as well as simulations, commissioning, and testing of electronic assemblies in accordance with applicable standards for medical devices (especially IEC 60601-1, 60601-2-40). Programming of microcontroller or DSP circuits according to applicable standards for medical devices (IEC 62304). Support of EMC and safety tests in accredited laboratories Collaboration in the preparation of standard-compliant documentation Collaboration in the transfer of series-ready products into production Being the contact person for QM and product management as well as customers, suppliers, national and international trade partners as well as notified bodies
