This role focuses on the design, analysis, and development of landing gear systems, supporting both new platform development and upgrades. You'll be working closely with cross-functional teams, including stress, hydraulics, and manufacturing, to deliver fully integrated and certifiable solutions. Required Skills: 5 years of experience in mechanical design for landing gear systems. Proficient in CATIA V5 or Siemens NX for 3D modeling and 2D drawing. Strong understanding of aerospace standards, including DO-160, CS-25, or equivalent. Desired Skills: Knowledge of actuation systems and hydraulic integration. Experience with compliance documentation and certification support. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop landing gear components and sub-systems, from concept through to release. Conduct design reviews, tolerance stack-ups, and apply GD&T for high-precision assemblies. Interface with analysis, systems, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and performance. Support qualification and certification processes, including technical documentation and test planning. Evaluate supplier designs and ensure conformance with project and airworthiness requirements. Contribute to the continuous improvement of design methods, tools, and product quality.
