Computer scientist (m/f/d) in business continuity management Work location: Stuttgart, Heidehofstraße 20 Profession or vocation – why not both? The Evangelical Upper Church Council manages the state church administration. It advises parishes, church districts, and church institutions on theological and legal issues. The Upper Church Council is responsible for supervising the administration of the church districts and parishes as well as the state church's works and institutions, and for supervising the employees of the state church.
For Department 7.4 "Information Technology Regional Church and OKR," we are looking for a computer scientist (m/f/d) in business continuity management to start as soon as possible, with a full-time position.
What you will be responsible for
* Maintaining business operations even in the event of serious disruptions to information processing.
* Developing and updating business continuity management at the Evangelical Upper Church Council and supporting the specialist departments in the introduction of new procedures.
* Identifying and evaluating the possible consequences of IT system disruptions on business operations.
* Creating business continuity and recovery plans and regularly reviewing them with the help of emergency tests.
* Advising departments on setting up and maintaining organization-wide emergency management.
* Working with the information security management team, the information security officer, and IT administrators.
* Collaborating with IT administrators on the implementation of measures and recovery exercises
What you bring to the table
* Degree in (business) information technology or administrative sciences with a focus on information technology or a similar field, or a comparable qualification
* Knowledge of ITIL Foundation
* Experience in information security and emergency management
* Good communication skills
* Experience in recording and analyzing processes
* Up-to-date knowledge/experience in the administration of Windows servers and networks
* We expect you to be a member of a church affiliated with the ACK
