Karla Otto Munich is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to support the agency’s luxury lifestyle communications teams. The Working Student (m/f/d) supports with reporting, giftings, seedings, database updates, talent and imagery research for strategy and concept work, client events as well as general operations.
We are offering 6-month paid part-time job for German-speaking students (m/f/d) based in our Munich office.
An ideal Working Student (m/f/d) is highly motivated, proactive, demanding, organized and available for 6 months starting July 1st, 2025. A valid Immatrikulationsbescheinigung is essential.
Some of your tasks with us
* Assist and work closely with the Communications and Talent Services team
* Support with handling and coordinating media inquiries and seed product samples, monitor and control the movement of all client samples
* Undertake media monitoring: review of media – newspapers, magazines, digital and social media
* Compile and review editorial clippings and share coverage with clients
* Support on compiling client reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
* Support in talent research tasks
* Build and maintain fashion and lifestyle press lists, as well as influencer databases
* Assist with organizing and executing events
* Use platforms like Launchmetrics / FGPS, DMR – DMR Web
Your profile
* You are an enrolled full-time student living in communter distance to our Munich office.
* You have experience working in a corporate environment.
* You have a keen interest in all things lifestyle and luxury and related communications.
* You know how to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
* You are comfortable working toward deadlines and taking ownership for smaller projects
* You are proactive and approach your work with a problem-solving mindset and a hands-on attitude.
* You are experienced in using common MS Office applications, such as Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel.
* You have a professional and friendly demeanor, and you don't lose your sense of humor even when things get hectic.
* You have professional communication skills in German and English and enjoy working in an international environment.
* You can spend 15-20 hours per week working with us.
