Head of Engineering

Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and develop the Engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
* Provide expert guidance on formwork, shoring, and scaffolding solutions to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective designs.
* Support Sales with technical solutions and attend client or project meetings when required.
* Oversee project planning, equipment requirements, and coordination with Operations to ensure smooth delivery.
* Ensure all engineering documents, designs, and standards meet quality and compliance requirements.
* Collaborate with CIDB and product certification bodies to meet regulatory standards.
* Support the development of local product strategy aligned with PERI’s global direction.
* Represent PERI’s technical expertise internally and externally.
Requirements
* Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred).
* Minimum 10 years of engineering experience in formwork, shoring, scaffolding, or related industries.
* Strong knowledge of local regulations and engineering standards.
* Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and structural analysis software (e.g., RSTAB).
* Leadership experience with the ability to manage and grow a technical team.
* Excellent communication skills; fluent in English.
* Professional engineering registration is an advantage.
