What are your contributions to the team?

6. Manage a team of cross-functional members focusing on specific tasks
7. Monitor functional departments and partner activities
8. Help define and maintain a governance calendar and ensure Program milestones are achieved within budget
9. Identify key Program issues and provide the necessary planning and leadership to resolve these issues
10. Participate in program reviews with partners to assess program progress, program risk and ensure that commitments are being achieved
11. Prepare and present regular program updates for senior management
12. Initiate/lead special case studies (i.e., financial impacts, projections, scheduling, etc.)
13. Manage closure of major issues and document lessons learned
14. Provide general direction for program setting priorities
15. Challenge and initiate design reviews to ensure program objectives are met within budget
16. Lead the development of statement of work for the project
17. Validate key assumptions & constraints and manage risk items, with corresponding risk mitigation/reduction strategies
18. Develop and implement control mechanisms to capture costs (labor, material and ODC) and monitor program performance
19. Establish program schedule and develop strategy for implementation plan
20. Develop tools for tracking of deliverables and progress of activities
21. Work in a multi-functional environment in which you interact with all levels of management

How to thrive in this role?

22. You hold a university degree in Engineering or Business Administration, with at least 5 years of experience
23. You have over 3 years’ experience in program or project management
24. You have strong leadership qualities with cross functional skills
25. You are able to influence at different levels of the organization
26. You have in-depth knowledge of aircraft development and production
27. You have excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
28. You can coordinate and lead effective meetings and presentations
29. You are computer literate, particularly in MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Project) and TEAMS, with knowledge of data base management, scheduling, and spreadsheets
30. You are pro-active, results oriented and innovative with a strategic vision and a view to business improvements
