AUFGABEN The Business Unit Rail Services offers a comprehensive portfolio of testing, inspection, certification and training services. We support our customers in all technical domains of the railway industry, such as rolling stock, signalling, infrastructure and energy, through all life cycle phases of railway systems and projects. A dedicated team within the Global Rail Program serves multi-domain railway projects worldwide. For this team we are looking for a Project Manager who, together with the team, will be responsible for planning, organisation and successful delivery of large projects worldwide. Act as project manager for various multi-domain projects, ensuring successful project delivery in terms of quality, timeline and financial figures Ensure compliance with the project contract and initiate contract changes and amendments as required Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and maintain a strong and trusting relationship to enable successful project delivery Ongoing identification and analysis of project risks, initiation of countermeasures as required Prepare comprehensive project status reports for stakeholders QUALIFIKATIONEN Required: Masters Degree in either a technical (civil, electrical or mechanical) or business discipline PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or 5 years project management experience on large-scale projects Good knowledge of railway products and systems Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required by the project Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with good team leadership skills Resilient (to pressure, last-minute deliveries) Fluent in spoken and written English (at least B2 level) Desired: Experience in managing railway-related projects Knowledge of railway safety standards and regulatory requirements Knowledge of project management software tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera)
