JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support the Army Community Services (ACS) Family Advocacy Program (FAP) for the Stuttgart community. The Family Advocacy Program is one of several social service programs within ACS. The program helps to facilitate adaptation and educational and informational awareness in support of Service members, family members, and Department of Defense Civilians.
QUALIFICATIONS
5. Fluent in English. Exhibit the ability to communicate in the English language, with references and/or High School/College Diploma or official transcript.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience managing files. 18 months of managing files in an Army setting is more valuable than one year of experience managing files in an office setting.
7. Experience in handling confidential documents.
8. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Administrative support & Telephone services.
• Recordkeeping and filing function to maintain record forms and information.
• Prepare and manage reports and correspondence to develop a database.
• Ongoing documentation management.
• Schedule FAP classes and update existing materials.
• Document all necessary data in the ACS Client Tracking System.
DOCPER/SOFA/Logistical Support Status
This position is not eligible for support under NATO Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) supplemental agreement articles 72 or 73.
