Your tasks
include supporting the preparation and execution of measurements on Francis model turbines in the in-house test laboratory.
1. You analyze turbine characteristics across various operating ranges and compare them with measurements from actual power plant units.
2. By evaluating the data, you link theoretical principles with practical applications.
3. You will collaborate across disciplines with experts in measurement technology, hydraulic design, structural analysis, and materials science.
4. Contribute to current research questions that support the energy transition with your work.
Your Profile
5. You are an enrolled student in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
6. You have basic knowledge of mechanics, strength, and fatigue analysis.
7. You also possess very good skills in MS Office.
8. Good English skills, an independent working style, and the ability to work in a team complete your profile.
9. A structured and goal-oriented working style distinguish you.
