We are a fast expanding startup with expertise in biomarker analysis, serving to augment sports performance and optimize health. We are actively seeking a LCMS Senior Scientist in NRW to bring their unique blend of talents to our dynamic team.
Your Responsibilities
* Managing and maintaining several LC-MS systems, ensuring smooth operation of routine laboratory
* Troubleshooting and resolving issues with analytical instrumentation
* Evaluation of targeted methods and data interpretation
* Adjusting and updating laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs)
* Clear and structured documentation in the Laboratory Information Management System
* Effective time management to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
* Strong communication skills to collaborate with different teams
* Working in shifts with variable working hours and weekend duties
Your Profile
* Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Bioanalytics, or a related field
* Proven experience in leading a commercial laboratory team of at least 5 people in a commercial setting
* Experience in financial management of a commercial laboratory is a big plus
* Strong expertise in LC-MS techniques (including micro-LC), including troubleshooting, method development and validation
* Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and outside organizations
* Detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality, compliance, and efficiency
* Hands-on experience with LIMS and laboratory inventory management
* Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
* Experience with Sciex MS and Shimadzu LCs is a massive plus
* Willing to do shift work and travel.
