Your mission ImFusion is a research and consulting company based in Munich. With expertise in image processing, computer vision, AI, and robotics applied to medical imaging, we support our customers in driving innovation in medical technologies. As a PhD Intern, you will work closely with our senior researchers and engineers, gaining hands-on experience in cutting-edge projects while contributing directly to real-world impact. Your work will include designing and implementing scientific algorithms, contributing to our machine learning framework, and exploring advanced medical applications such as image segmentation, object detection, registration, and reconstruction. This internship offers the opportunity to collaborate with innovative startups, global leaders in medical imaging, and/or academic institutions. Throughout your internship, you will be mentored by experienced team members, giving you the chance to grow your skills, share knowledge, and make meaningful contributions to the future of AI in healthcare. While the position is based in our Munich office, remote or hybrid work arrangements may be possible within Germany and, where feasible, internationally in line with role requirements and legal regulations.
