Senior Legal Counsel
Location: remote in Germany
Our client is seeking an experienced legal professional to support construction development projects. This role involves advising on contracts, conducting due diligence, structuring projects as a general contractor, and ensuring compliance with Construction and Commercial Law while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and support all legal aspects of construction development projects.
* Advise stakeholders on legal matters, including drafting and negotiating construction-related contracts.
* Conduct due diligence on new properties, focusing on construction law considerations.
* Develop and implement suitable project structures with a focus on general contracting.
* Provide legal guidance on Construction and Architects’ Law, as well as commercial law matters.
Your Profile:
* Fully qualified German lawyer (both state exams) with at least three years of experience in Construction and Architects’ Law, ideally from a law firm or in-house role.
* Strong technical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate legal risks.
* Excellent command of both German and English, with the ability to draft legal documents.
* Proactive, independent decision-maker with sound judgment and a solutions-oriented mindset.
