Your areas of responsibility:
* Develop and deliver long-term strategic goals for data architecture vision and standards
* Establish processes for governing the identification, collection, and use of corporate metadata; take steps to assure metadata accuracy and validity
* Conduct data capacity planning, lifecycle, usage requirements, feasibility studies, and other tasks
* Create strategies and plans for data security, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and archiving
* Ensure that data strategies and architectures are in regulatory compliance
* Design, develop, and implement data models for enterprise applications and systems
* Map data sources, data movement, interfaces, and analytics to ensure data quality
* Assess and determine governance, stewardship, and frameworks for managing data
* Collaborate with enterprise architects, CDOs, project managers, and business leaders on data projects
* Complete studies degree with focus on IT, e.g., computer science or business informatics
* Hands-on experience with data architecture, mining, large-scale modeling, and requirements analysis
* Experience in implementing enterprise data management processes and decision support
* Knowledge of enterprise repository, data modeling, mapping, and profiling tools
* Experience with repository creation and data lifecycle methodologies
* Manage data and metadata migration
* Proactive in shaping work environment and working through complex concepts
* Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills, with cross-functional experience
* Willing to travel nationally and internationally
