Requirements Adherence to and promotion of company safety and quality policies. Onsite co-ordination between mechanical and other disciplines. Monitoring and delivering of project construction schedule Attending on-site co-ordination meetings with client. Co-ordinating and monitoring labour and plant requirements with site supervisors Supervision of project sub-contractors Reporting directly to the project manager on all aspects of the project Working closely with site engineers and safety officers to achieve project goals. Closely monitoring labour loading at all times to ensure that all costs are minimized. Ensuring that all project variations are recorded for the project QS Requirements Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience working on mechanical projects in the pharmaceutical or oil and gas industries. Ideally the candidate would be a time served fitter or would possess a mechanical engineering qualification. Have an excellent understanding of piping isometric and general arrangement drawings Possess exceptionally good organisational skills with good time management ability, working to deadlines / prioritising. Self-starter who is committed to achieve an excellent standard of work. An orderly systematic approach to problem solving will be a prerequisite for carrying out this role.
